Disneyland Paris is a creation based on decades of cinematic fantasy. Children are introduced to larger-than-life versions of their favourite screen characters on parades every day. Lots of skull and cross bone-shaking excitement is to be had on the sensational Pirates of the Caribbean ride as well as lots more piratical fun to be had playing in Adventureland. Climb rocks, scale rigging or shoot down the slides at the playground at Pirates Beach, which is perfect for would-be Jack Sparrows. Peter Pan can try and win back Wendy by duelling on Captain Hook's Pirate Ship.
Out at Davy Crockett's Ranch, the Treetop Adventure Trail is a great place to act out Tarzan fantasies. Bigger kids and parents can swing from the trees or glide and walk through the air, safely supported by harnesses and nets, as there are five levels of forest canopy.
